Our May Newsletter just went out last week and it is now posted on the blog for those who prefer the electronic version.
Finally, on Friday, May 31 we will begin auditions for our up and coming Talent Show. For the past 2 years General Lake has held a talent show to showcase some of our student talent. We hold auditions and choose a few students from each level with a variety of performances to make a show. It is run by grade 8 students. The date for our show is Tuesday June 18 at 12:15. Students are asked to prepare a 1 minute polished version of their performance for their audition. We hope to videotape the auditions to include some footage in the actual show. On Friday we will begin with Kindergarten to grade 2 auditions. The remainder of the audition dates will occur during the following weeks and are posted on the blog.
