St. John Ambulance is holding a Babysitting Course for youth aged 10+. This course is designed for youth who want to become a babysitter or may already be one. The Babysitting Course covers the responsibilities of a babysitter, safety tips for children of all ages, basic child care skills and what to do in case of an emergency. This course is also an excellent first aid course for every child! In fact, recently there was a child that saved his mom’s life when she was choking at dinner. This child learnt how to do first aid at a Babysitting Course! Each student will receive a St. John Ambulance babysitter's manual and certificate of completion at the end of the day. The course fee is $50 and is being held on the first P.A day of the fall semester, Sept 24th.
